...Autumn is here and Covid-19 is still here...

Season Drawing To A Close

Difficult times invites creative solutions; throughout the summer we have been able to hold socially distance member events.

The highlight of the summer season was the Classic Car Drive In at Bicester Heritage where there was over 40 members cars on display.

A big thank you to those members that were able to make the event.

Monthly Members Only Meetings

Due to recent Government COVID-19 restrictions we have decided to suspend club car meetings until the advice changes or is updated.

The safety of members is paramount to our car family.

Keep safe and watch out for further updates.

We are always available for TV work or Music Videos

In 2019 the club has featured on Channel 4's Great British Car Journeys (Series 2, Episode 3) &

BBC Farmers' Country Showdown at Lambeth Country Show

About Us

We are a growing club supported by member voluntary contributions.  Unlike most car clubs our members are the focal point with our interest in cars being one of the aspects that brings us together.  Our members own a range of cars in varying condition but what is true is that they are all cherished.

Our goal is to arrange many different events over the course of the year where we can all meet, share experiences and offer advice.  Ultimately, we would like to organise tours across the UK and Europe with our cars, and further afield to see other clubs in the diaspora.

Joining Afro Classics Register and participating to make our 'goal' a reality.

At Afro Classics Register (ACR) we are not focused on concours cars; our motto is, we make the club not our cars.

ACR membership reflects the cultural heritage of a group that may be 'unconsciously' overlooked as enthusiasts of classic cars. We seek to promote awareness of the diversity of classic car ownership in the UK.

Whilst we do have many members that enjoy tinkering and/or restoring cars, our membership consists mainly of people that enjoy the design, driving classics and meeting up socially with their cars.  Members are also a useful reference point for reliable garages and sources for parts.

Our cars are an instrument to build additional friendships, share experiences and indulge in pleasurable appreciation of our cherished assets.  We participate in a number of car shows, community events, music festivals, and charity fund-raising.

Our membership consists of people of African and Caribbean heritage, however, we welcome to our events friends and appreciators of classic cars from all backgrounds.
