Michael acquired his first restoration project, Citreon DS, late 2010 in Amsterdam.
If you look closely at the photos in Members, Family & friends - Bromley Pageant 2018 you will see that Micheal's daughter has not inherited his looks;-)
6-month later there was still no end to the emergence of rust.
One year into the project the rust has been removed and replaced by solid metal.
After two years the back-end is all together.
By March 2014 the inner and outer sills had been replaced along with the floor.
A lot of progress was made in March and the work continues.
September 2014 the front-end welding was completed and then painted.
March 2015 the frame of the DS is now solid and fitting the body panels becomes the next task.
February 2016 the roof has been sealed and the body panels are being lined up.
June 2016 and finally the DS is ready for the road.
The car attracted huge attention at the Bromley Pageant 2018, the detailed restoration is inspiring.
